It's a global problem that we can't ignore! Overfishing is a very serious problem that's progressively getting worst. In areas all around the world that uses fish in their everyday life faces complex issues of ecosystem destruction, economic impact, biodiversity, ghost fishing, and pollution. Ecosystem destruction is unsustainable fishing of a particular species, which means that soon the species that's being constantly fish will become extinct. Once one species from the food chain becomes extinct, the chine begins to fall part little by little. A study of catch data published in 2006 in the journal science grimly, predicted that "if fishing rates continue apace, all the world's fisheries will have collapsed by the year 2048" - National Geographic. This doesn't only effect the fish and the fisheries but us as well. If over fishing continues to grow in fast rates soon our money will be more sent on fishing for the simple fact that the fish that's majority eaten by people is decreasing in population the higher price it'll be worth.
